Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join our agile team and design, develop, and deliver scalable technology solutions in a secure environment. You will work across multiple domains, enhancing code quality with AI-assisted tools while adhering to coding standards and peer review.

You will contribute to architecture, data analysis, and continuous improvement of software systems, leveraging modern technologies and enterprise tooling to drive performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Proficient in Java/Spring Boot/Microservices/REST APIs/React.js.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, security.
• Advanced Python experience with Pandas/NumPy and SQL.
• Hands-on with enterprise-authorized AI dev tools and ability to evaluate AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine problem solving.
• Produces secure, high-quality production code and robust algorithms.
• Leverages enterprise AI coding tools to improve quality, speed and productivity with peer review and secure coding.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and efficiency.
• Develops architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures constraints are met.
• Gathers and visualizes data from large datasets to improve software applications and systems.
• Identifies hidden patterns in data to drive programming improvements.
