Tata Consultancy Services in McLean, VA is seeking a senior Java FS developer who has strong hands-on experience in QA automation and Spring Batch.

You will design, build, and own high-throughput Java/Spring Boot microservices for inbound data processing, lead Spring Batch job development for end-to-end pipelines, and develop secure REST integrations with external/internal systems using OAuth2. This role also involves mentoring engineers and driving production readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Java development with strong OOP and clean code.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Batch with batch job patterns.
• Strong REST API experience with secure service-to-service communication.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL, SQL queries, indexing, and ETL-style workloads.
• Experience with Spring Data JPA and JDBC Template.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own high-throughput Java/Spring Boot microservices for data processing.
• Lead Spring Batch job development for end-to-end pipelines.
• Develop secure REST integrations with external/internal systems using OAuth2.
• Model relational data workflows in PostgreSQL and optimize large-volume loads.
• Drive production readiness with health checks and robust error handling.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and Data teams; mentor engineers.
