Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in McLean, VA seeks an experienced Senior Java FS developer with strong QA automation and Spring Batch to design and deliver high‑throughput microservices. You will lead end‑to‑end pipelines, implement secure REST integrations with OAuth2, and mentor peers while driving production readiness across teams.

The role leverages AWS services and serverless patterns within a robust enterprise environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on Java development with OOP and clean code principles.
Deep expertise in Spring Boot including job/step configuration and recovery strategies.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with Spring and secure service-to-service communication.
Proven SQL and PostgreSQL proficiency for ETL-style workloads.
Experience with Spring Data JPA and JDBC Template for ORM and data access.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, build, and ownership of high-throughput Java/Spring Boot microservices.
Develop secure REST integrations and OAuth2 client credentials flows with robust logging.
Drive production readiness and collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and Data teams.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture guidance, and standards.
