Job summary

Talent Stack is seeking a Software Engineer III to develop software for advanced satellite ground systems in a defense and aerospace context. You will design, implement, test, and maintain Java-based solutions, emphasizing multithreading and robust architectures in an Agile setting.

Required TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and a STEM degree with 5+ years of professional experience. Onsite work in Aurora, Colorado, with exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; CI polygraph preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM; master's preferred.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Java and multithreading for defense software projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for satellite ground systems.
• Develop object-oriented, multithreaded Java applications.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment with engineers and leads.
• Contribute to SDLC in defense software programs.
• Work with AWS, microservices, DevSecOps, and CI/CD in multi-tier architectures.
