Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks a Senior Software Engineer with hands-on cloud experience to join our client in delivering scalable financial markets infrastructure. You will own the full software lifecycle, craft robust features, and participate in CI/CD, code reviews, and agile planning.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of Java-based backend development, OpenJDK on Debian, and experience with AWS or Azure, relational databases, Redis, Git, and scripting (Shell/Bash/Python).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Java (v11, v18) and OO design.
• Experience in OpenJDK, Debian, and cloud native apps on AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Own the full software lifecycle from design to deployment and CI/CD
• Break down complex problems and implement scalable features
• Write well-structured, maintainable code and perform code reviews
• Collaborate in an agile environment and adapt to project needs
• Learn new technologies and drive improvements across the stack
• Identify and resolve software defects and issues promptly
• Contribute to project planning and document software solutions
• Engage in DevSecOps practices and maintain quality standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship as needed
