Job summary
ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Saint Louis, Missouri, on a hybrid, 12- to 18-month contract. You will design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript, leveraging AWS GovCloud services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS) within a micro-frontend architecture.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on software engineering, deep Java/Spring Boot expertise, AWS experience, and familiarity with Angular.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on development.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- AWS Cloud experience including ECS/EKS, Lambda and RDS.
- Experience with Angular and micro-frontend architectures is a plus.
- Strong writing and communication skills to document designs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript.
- Build solutions with AWS GovCloud services in a microservices/micro-frontend setup.
- Address technical debt by upgrading dependencies and frameworks.
- Ensure comprehensive test automation including UI testing and BDD.
- Collaborate with architects and scrum teams to translate vision into scalable solutions.
