Job Title: Senior Java Developer with AWS - Only on our W2

Location: 100% Remote (United States)

Job Description:

We seek a skilled Java Developer with experience in AWS to join our development team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain Java applications on AWS platforms.

Responsibilities include:

1. Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Java applications.
2. Utilize AWS cloud services to develop innovative solutions that align with business needs.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services.
4. Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
5. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle, write well-designed, efficient code.
6. Ensure designs comply with specifications, prepare and produce releases of software components.
7. Participate in code review processes and improve code quality by implementing best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 15+ years of IT work experience and 12+ years in Java
2. Proven hands-on Software Development experience in Java.
3. Proven working experience in Java development and AWS cloud services.
4. Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
5. Profound insight into Java and JEE internals.
6. Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
7. Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.
8. Excellent knowledge of AWS Services like EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
9. AWS Certification is a plus.
