Overview

Hybrid (4x/week) - Park Ave, NYC

Base pay range

$115,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

This role is with the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) line of business, focusing on technical enhancement and modernization efforts within Investment Banking. The candidate will be full-stack focused, leveraging strong Java and API skills, as well as backend database experience with SQL. He/she should be comfortable in a coding-intensive role mentoring other junior resources, while being proactive and owning solutions long-term. The candidate will participate in multiple software development processes including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation. They will develop software applications based on clear business specifications and work closely with quant researchers/developers, technology teams, middle-office and trading global systems.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of Java/backend development experience and Spring Boot
Extensive experience with Kafka integrations
Strong experience within a financial services environment (core banking, ledger, payments, etc.)
Designing, developing, and implementing Spring boot microservices
Experience within Azure, GCP, or AWS
