Revolution Technologies in the Boston area is seeking multiple experienced Java Full Stack Software Engineers to join a growing team developing mission-critical cybersecurity applications. This is a Java-focused full-stack role with an active DoD Secret clearance; onsite five days a week in the Greater Boston area, with a long-term W-2 contract and potential for permanent hire.

Senior Java Software Engineer – Active Secret Clearance

Multiple Openings | 5 days Onsite in the Boston Area | Long-Term W-2 Contract with Benefits Available & Potential for Permanent Hire

We are seeking multiple experienced Java Full Stack Software Engineers to join a growing team developing mission-critical cybersecurity applications. These positions offer the opportunity to work on complex enterprise software products in a collaborative engineering environment supporting highly secure systems.

This is a Java-focused full-stack development role. We are particularly interested in engineers with strong back-end Java experience who also have exposure to modern front-end technologies, databases, APIs, and enterprise application frameworks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, enhance, and troubleshoot enterprise Java applications


• Develop both back-end services and user-facing application functionality


• Work with relational databases and data-driven applications


• Build and integrate REST-based services and interfaces


• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, and deployment


• Collaborate with software engineers and other technical team members in an Agile environment


• Help solve complex technical problems involving secure, mission-critical applications


• Take ownership of assigned development work and contribute to technical decisions

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of hire


• Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience


• 3+ years of professional software development experience with Java / Enterprise Java

Highly Desired Experience
