Citi's Mortgage Technology team seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Java/Python) in New York to design and evolve scalable applications integral to mortgage trading, analytics, workflows, and reporting. You will partner with risk, product and tech groups to enable new products and streamlined processes, and apply AI to automate analysis and unlock insights.

Responsibilities include overseeing the full development lifecycle, maintaining CI/CD practices, and mentoring junior staff while operating

Formación

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a STEM field.
Extensive knowledge of Java and Python.
Experience with container orchestration platforms (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift).
Experience in systems analysis and software programming.
Experience managing and delivering projects.

Responsabilidades

Design and deliver scalable Java and Python applications for mortgage trading, analytics, workflows and reporting.
Collaborate with business, risk, product and tech teams to integrate platforms and enable new products.
Oversee development lifecycle and provide user/operational support to business users.
Apply AI/GenAI to modernize workflows and derive insights in mortgage tech.
Solve high-impact initiatives through business-process analysis and industry standards.
Uphold coding, testing, CI/CD, debugging and production readiness standards.
Act as a mentor to junior analysts and provide guidance.
