Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is hiring a Senior Python Developer (AVP) in hybrid New York, NY, to design and deliver scalable Python-based solutions for the mortgage trading business. You will partner with business and tech teams to drive product enhancements and implement AI-enabled improvements.

Qualifications

4–6 years of relevant experience in software development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
Extensive knowledge of Python and container orchestration platforms.
Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
Knowledge of consulting or project-management methods.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable Python-based applications for mortgage trading.
Collaborate with business, risk, product, and tech teams to enable new products.
Oversee all phases of development from design to production.
Apply AI and GenAI to modernize workflows and analytics.
Address high-impact initiatives through process and system analysis.
Enforce coding, testing, and CI/CD standards.
