Job summary

RaceDog Technologies in New York City is seeking a Senior Java & Python Developer with 15+ years of experience to own backend services and cloud/integration work. You will craft robust microservices, automate AWS pipelines, and embed AI frameworks like LangChain or Sierra into enterprise apps.

You will design RESTful and gRPC services with Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI/Django), automate shell scripts, and deploy containerized workloads on AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, with enterprise Java and Python.
• Expert-level Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI/Django) microservices.
• Extensive AWS experience (Lambda, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS).
• Shell scripting (Bash/Shell) for automation.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Sierra frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, architecture, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade distributed microservices in Java and Python.
• Build and optimize cloud deployment pipelines and automation scripts.
• Integrate generative AI frameworks and LLM orchestration into apps.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging pipelines.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native architectures on AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS).
• Collaborate with data science, DevOps, and product teams to improve performance and security.
• Write unit and integration tests; maintain CI/CD quality with automated pipelines.
• Troubleshoot performance, memory, and concurrency issues under load.
