Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Elasticsearch team. You will build foundational infrastructure, improve observability, and own complex, cross‑team projects from design through delivery.

You’ll work at a low level of abstraction while communicating technical concepts across collaborators and developers. You will design scalable APIs, tackle performance and concurrency challenges, and contribute to serverless, cloud, and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Experience crafting APIs and reasoning through tradeoffs.
• Proficient in algorithms and data structures.
• Strong Java knowledge, including concurrency and standard library.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience and modern tooling.
