Qualifications

• 7 years of development experience in Java 6.x and J2EE components (JSP, EJBs, JDBC).
• Experience with RAD 7.5 or newer IDEs for Java development.
• Knowledge of OOAD design patterns (Singleton, Factory, DAO).
• Understanding of MVC architecture and web services development.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere 8.0 and Linux environments is a plus.
• Experience migrating from monolithic to microservices, containerized with AWS EKS.
• Experience with relational databases (DB2, Oracle) and SQL statements.
• Strong communication skills and familiarity with integrated eligibility systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack Java applications and microservices with Spring Boot and containers.
• Migrate legacy monolithic apps to microservices in a containerized AWS EKS environment.
• Develop and review Angular UI to align with backend services.
• Perform PoCs to integrate new tools/products into the existing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in EKS-based microservices.
