Job summary

HireOn Tech in Plano, TX seeks an experienced Java engineer to design and develop microservices using Java/SpringBoot, REST, and cloud-native patterns. You will contribute across API, data, and UI layers in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have extensive Java/J2EE background, experience with CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Kafka, and MuleSoft, and a focus on scalable, robust software with strong testing practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in design and development using Java/SpringBoot Microservices.
• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, UML, OOD.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Jira, JUnit testing.
• Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and NoSQL like MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable Java/SpringBoot microservices.
• Collaborate with QA, UX, and backend teams to ensure quality.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Coordinate testing, debugging and stakeholder communication.
