Job summary

Wipro Limited in the United States (Tampa, FL) is seeking a seasoned Java backend developer to design, build, test, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications. The role emphasizes Spring Boot, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-native architectures, within an Agile team.

You will contribute to architecture, testing, and CI/CD improvements, using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift for deployment and orchestration, and apply AI-assisted tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and building Java backend applications in Agile environments.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of SDLC, SOA and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java backend services.
• Build enterprise apps using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and Oracle.
• Contribute to architecture, design, documentation and standards.
• Develop and optimize SOA, microservices and cloud-native apps.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated builds/deployments.
• Create and run unit/integration tests and RCA-focused defect fixes.
• Leverage Docker for containers and Kubernetes/OpenShift for orchestration.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum team and communicate progress clearly.
