Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Java backend developer in Cincinnati to design and build microservices using Spring Boot. The role emphasizes end-to-end development, cloud deployment on Azure, and integration with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience, strong knowledge of microservices, databases (Cassandra, Mongo), and a track record with Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with Java, Springboot
• 4+ years of hands on experience in developing microservices using Spring Boot
• 2+ years of developing Microservices using databases like Cassandra, Mongo
• 2+ years experience in developing and deploying microservices in cloud on Azure
• Experience with end-to-end development including back-end database layer, app server/web server layer
• Experience in messaging with Kafka and Rabbit MQ
• 2+ years of experience with Agile Methodologies like Scrum, SAFe
• Integration experience with Third Party Applications (Web Services, Tax Processors, Payment Processors, Fulfillment)
• Knowledge of SOA, ESB, and OOA/OOD
• Ability to think strategically to support rapid development
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Experience in eCommerce solutions for multi-channel retailers and payments add value
