Job summary

ICONMA is actively seeking an experienced Java Lead Developer with hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and AWS to join our client’s technology engineering team on a 4–5 month contract basis. This on-site role is in Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA (local candidates only).

You will design, develop, test, and scale enterprise-grade Java applications and cloud-native microservices, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers to ensure high performance and reliable delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of enterprise Java experience.
• Hands-on with AWS, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Strong English communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications and microservices.
• Deploy and manage AWS cloud resources and RESTful APIs.
• Provide technical leadership and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA.
• Mentor junior developers and ensure high performance.
