You will guide AI-assisted tooling adoption, tackle complex engineering challenges, and influence product design across teams. Ideal candidates bring strong Java/Springboot and Python skills, 5+ years of software experience, and a track record coaching senior engineers

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Springboot, and microservice architectures.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience leading enterprise‑approved AI‑assisted software development tools and setting team expectations for validating AI outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and coaching on compliant usage.
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high‑quality production code and reviews others’ code.
• Drives adoption and governance of AI‑assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery.
• Leads use of SDLC tools and AI-assisted development within the pipeline.
• Influences product design and operational processes across teams.
• Serves as SME in one or more focus areas and promotes firmwide SDLC frameworks.
