Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced software professional in Reading, PA to build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and to develop responsive UI components with Angular. You will also manage containerized build pipelines, conduct peer code reviews, and design optimized database schemas.

Your role requires 10+ years of solid experience in RESTful web services, Spring MVC, Angular, and core Java, with hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Restful web services, Spring MVC framework, and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE technologies, Spring-boot, Restful Webservices, Hibernate, Spring JPA.
• Knowledgeable in frontend technologies - JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, Ajax and libraries like Angular/VueJS.
• Experience with RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle) and SQL optimization.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot and responsive UI components using Angular.
• Implement client-side state management and data caching in Angular applications.
• Design relational database schemas and secure, optimized RESTful APIs.
• Manage containerized build pipelines and deploy full-stack apps with Docker and OpenShift.
• Conduct peer code reviews and write unit tests (TypeScript with Karma/Jasmine and Java with JUnit/Mockito).
• Create documentation for architectures and technical workflows.
