JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Commercial & Investment Banking - Payments team. You will design and deliver secure, scalable technology within an agile environment and work with enterprise AI-assisted development tools to enhance code quality and delivery speed.

The role emphasizes production-grade coding, architecture artifacts, and data-driven improvements across multiple domains while maintaining security and resilience standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years software engineering experience
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs in a large corporate environment
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness and security
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering, data sensitivity and secure handling
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile practices including CI/CD, resilience and security

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and troubleshoot software solutions with scalable architecture
• Produce production-grade code and maintain algorithms
• Utilize enterprise AI coding tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity
• Apply SDLC tools and automated testing in delivery
