Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training in software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using Java/Spring Boot/Microservices/REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI-assisted development tools and ability to validate outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms with system alignment.
• Produces architecture/design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met by code.
• Gathers and analyzes large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture.
• Contributes to engineering communities of practice and explores emerging technologies.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to enhance automation.
• Adds to team culture of diversity and inclusion.
