Job summary

Wipro Technologies is seeking an experienced Java Kafka Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. You will work on event-driven architectures, RESTful APIs, and real-time data processing while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Connect, Schema Registry.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services (JAX-RS) and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with multithreading and JVM tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise apps using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Build and support event-driven apps with Apache Kafka.
• Develop Kafka producers, consumers, topics and consumer groups.
• Design REST APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
• Work with distributed systems and real-time streaming platforms.
• Troubleshoot performance issues related to apps and Kafka.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver scalable solutions and participate in Agile processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and perform code reviews; mentor juniors.
