Job summary

Trigyn Technologies Limited invites a Lead Java/J2EE Developer to Albany, NY to spearhead the Tax Modernization effort. You will lead development, mentor staff, and ensure delivery of automated tax applications while coordinating with ITS and customers.

The role requires extensive J2EE, Spring, SQL, and messaging experience, plus strong communication and leadership skills for end-to-end software delivery.

Qualifications

• Involved in all phases of software development: research, design, programming, testing and deployment.
• Able to work independently, provide guidance to others, may have advanced education.
• 60+ months experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP and XML.
• 60+ months experience building and testing Java EE apps using modern IDEs (Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ).
• 36+ months experience with Spring/Struts and servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere or WebLogic.
• 60+ months experience writing SQL for relational databases.
• 48+ months experience with messaging tech (MQ, JMS, Kafka).
• 36+ months experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• 24+ months experience with government taxation/budget organization systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead programming duties for tax-related applications.
• Obtain business requirements to develop automated applications.
• Develop and mentor staff using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Develop unit test plans and conduct unit testing.
• Coordinate migration of code from development to test environments.
• Provide guidance through all project management phases.
• Address defects and issues promptly based on priority.
• Facilitate meetings with ITS and customers and communicate clearly.
