Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile team supporting a multi-year federal contract. You will build and maintain modern web apps using Java/Spring Boot and Angular, integrating REST APIs with SQL Server.

The role emphasizes hands-on Java development, strong front-end skills, DevOps familiarity, and collaboration with architects, testers, and stakeholders. U.S. work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience.
• 3+ years of Angular/AngularJS development experience.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Strong Spring ecosystem knowledge: Spring Boot, MVC, Security, Data/JPA/Hibernate & REST APIs.
• Strong front-end with Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with SQL Server, JSON, XML, and RESTful services.
• Proficient with Maven, Git, and SDLC practices.
• Experience with unit/integration testing and DevOps practices.
• Ability to obtain a FNS MBI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile software development lifecycle from backlog to deployment.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps using Java/Spring.
• Develop responsive web apps with Angular, AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Implement RESTful services with Spring Boot and integrate with databases.
• Collaborate across architects, developers, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders.
• Develop unit and integration tests and support automated testing.
• Maintain and modernize existing apps with modern Spring/Angular tech.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and guidance.
