Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications using Core Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring WebFlux. The role emphasizes cloud-native microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, and data layer with SQL/NoSQL databases.

You will build Angular 11+ and Node.js front-ends, collaborate with architects, product owners, and UX teams, and participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Core Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring WebFlux.
• Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and XML-based integrations.
• Experience building microservices architectures and applying reactive and functional programming concepts.
• Proficiency with Angular 11+, Node.js, and modern front-end development practices.
• Strong database experience with SQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and Apache Kafka.
• Proven ability to collaborate with distributed teams, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and Spring WebFlux.
• Build and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Develop cloud-native microservices leveraging reactive and functional programming principles.
• Create and enhance user-facing applications using Angular 11+ and Node.js.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement event-driven solutions using AWS and Apache Kafka.
• Participate in code reviews, proofs-of-concepts, troubleshooting, and engineering improvement initiatives.
