Job summary

Capgemini seeks a Java Developer to join our hybrid team in the US. The role focuses on building Java-based enterprise applications using Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and AWS cloud-native solutions.

You will participate in Agile delivery, implement automated testing, and help maintain CI/CD pipelines. Expected experience includes 8–12+ years in Java development, proficiency with Java 17/21, Spring, Docker/Kubernetes, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA, and Microservices.
• Experience with REST APIs, OAuth2, and cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, Spark).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL optimization, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in GitHub and source control systems; familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based enterprise applications and microservices.
• Build REST APIs using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and release activities.
• Implement automated testing using JUnit, Cucumber/Karate, TDD, and BDD.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
