Job summary

Capgemini seeks a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications across AWS with Java microservices and React front-ends. You will contribute to scalable, secure enterprise systems and participate in architecture, reviews, and CI/CD improvements.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience, strong AWS knowledge, and hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes in a large-scale environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, MSK, CloudWatch, IAM, networking, and security.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and modern DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to build and support large-scale enterprise applications with high availability, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Strong understanding of application security, observability, resiliency, monitoring, and performance tuning in production environments.
• Experience with React and TypeScript and knowledge of event-driven architecture is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain full stack applications using modern software engineering practices.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs while ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Implement cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, or GCP services.
• Participate in software architecture, technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution evaluations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to improve application delivery and quality.
