ZipStaff Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with strong hands-on Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, REST APIs, GraphQL, and CI/CD experience for a 6-month hybrid engagement in Plano, TX.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise applications, working in a hybrid customer-facing environment. This role requires on-site interviews in Plano and offers a W2 contract through ZipStaff.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 21 & Spring Boot 3.
• Experience with Angular 18, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, GraphQL, and OpenAPI.
• Experience with microservices and distributed/event-driven architecture.
• Strong AWS experience, including Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/Fargate, EventBridge, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3.
• Hands-on with JPA/Hibernate and SQL.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OIDC, IAM, and API security.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging and production-support experience.
• Ability to work hybrid/on-site in Plano, TX (on-site interview required).

Job Title: Senior Java Full Stack Engineer – AWS

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid / On-site)

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity:

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, REST APIs, GraphQL, Microservices, and CI/CD for a global technology services firm.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience developing, integrating, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications and be comfortable working in a hybrid customer-facing environment. This is a 6-month engagement with on-site interview required.

What You'll Do:

• Experience with Oracle and DynamoDB.
• Exposure to GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development.
• Background with legacy Java technologies such as Struts 2, JNDI, or WAR/EAR.
• Automotive industry experience.
