Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a client project in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month, hybrid on-site role (3 days per week on location) with a W2 contract structure.

You will drive enterprise modernization efforts, define architecture, microservices, REST APIs, and optimize performance while collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java enterprise application development.
• Experience building modern full-stack applications using React 18 and Java.
• Proven experience leading large-scale application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API development, SQL Server, performance tuning, and scalable application design.
• Hands-on experience with Python and the ability to contribute across the full application stack.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Kafka or other event-driven messaging frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture and roadmap for enterprise application modernization initiatives.
• Drive microservices design, REST API development, database strategy, and performance optimization.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, engineering best practices, and AI-assisted development methodologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Make technical decisions, assess risks, and govern solutions across multiple development teams.
• Support Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production support activities.
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability requirements in the banking environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions supporting Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives.
