Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Java Full-Stack AI Engineer to join our Memphis, TN office to support USPS-facing enterprise services. The role focuses on integrating AI-driven data workflows, building scalable and secure applications, and collaborating with data scientists and architects to deploy AI/ML models in production.

The ideal candidate has extensive Java and full-stack experience, strong knowledge of Kafka, IBM MQ, and SQL, and can operate across technical and customer audiences. U.S.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder per contract and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Extensive experience with Java/Full-Stack web development and enterprise systems.
• Strong background in HTML/CSS/JavaScript frameworks and Java server tech (JEE, Spring, Spring Boot).
• Experience with Kafka-based solutions and stream processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement web-based applications.
• Develop complex applications using Oracle and Java technologies.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and ensure high availability in enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data architects, and stakeholders to deploy AI/ML models.
• Participate in code reviews and support production environments.
