Ztek Consulting, Inc. seeks a Java FSE Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend technologies.

The position is onsite in Richmond, VA or Atlanta, GA. The role requires 7+ years of Java/J2EE experience, strong Spring Boot/Spring MVC/Data JPA/Spring Security expertise, and frontend experience with Angular (preferred) or React, plus TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 7+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong backend with Spring Boot, MVC, Data JPA, and Security.
• Frontend familiarity: Angular (preferred) or React; TS/HTML5/CSS3.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices; OOP and SDLC knowledge.
• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational DBs (Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Proficient with Git and Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with AI prompting tools (Copilot, Devin, Windsurf) and API-driven development.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web apps using Java and modern frontend tech.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop responsive UI components with Angular or React; TypeScript/HTML5/CSS3.
• Create scalable backend services with Spring Boot and Spring modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Write clean, maintainable code following standards; perform tests and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and scalability issues; fix defects.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to model and optimize data.
• Support production deployments and participate in incident resolution.
