Job summary

intive is recruiting for a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain RESTful services using Java 11/17+ and Spring Boot. You will work with SQL/NoSQL databases, write unit tests, and contribute to scalable cloud deployments on AWS.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, review code, and help optimize performance. A strong emphasis on testing, quality, and continuous learning is evident across our remote-friendly culture.

Qualifications

What you will be doing

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java (11/17+) and Spring Boot.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java (11 or 17+) and Spring Boot.

• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and microservice architectures.

• Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

• Experience working with Gradle as a build tool.

• Familiarity with AWS services.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Dynatrace and Kibana for monitoring and logging.

• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).

• Experience with SonarQ for code quality analysis.

• Containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
