Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Java Senior Advanced Developer to design and build high quality software across product domains. You will work with Core Java, Spring Boot, MQ Series, and RESTful APIs within the Deposits Agile Squad/Fleet to deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities include design discussions, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting automated systems throughout the SDLC. Strong OO design, Java 8, and CI/CD experience are required.

Qualifications

• 15 years of hands on professional experience with Core Java, Java Restful APIs, Gradle, Spring, Spring Boot, MQ Series and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and development.
• Strong Core Java (Collections, Data Structures, OOP, Generics, Lambda, Multi-Threading) Java 8.
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
• Strong knowledge of integration frameworks technologies (Messaging/Streaming MQ/Kafka, Web Services REST/SOAP, Spring Batch).
• Some experience or understanding in JavaScript, HTML 5.
• Understanding of web architectures and auth mechanisms (Cookie/Token).
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience with JUnit, TDD (Concordion), and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).
• Proficiency with Git and CI tools like Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on design and development of core Java applications as part of the Deposits Agile Squad/Fleet.
• Ensure code aligns with architecture and integration standards within enterprise framework.
• Participate in design discussions and contribute to architecture.
• Investigate production issues.
• Provide technical support for debugging web apps and databases; assist production systems.
• Support continuous improvement of automated systems; participate in all SDLC phases.
