Job summary

Acestack is seeking a Senior Java Developer to drive backend solutions across multiple geographies (New Castle, DE; Jersey City, NJ; Tampa, FL). You will own full lifecycle development of resilient microservices using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot and modern APIs.

You'll mentor junior engineers, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with DevOps to ensure scalable deployments on OpenShift/AWS. A strong track record in RESTful services and data modeling is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on in Spring and microservices.
• Experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger.

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution

Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production issues

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).

Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.

Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
