Job summary

Trusted Space, LLC is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance software in a collaborative, agile setting. A BS or higher and 10+ years of experience are required, with 5+ years in production Java, Spring, and messaging frameworks.

Must hold a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph capability within 30 days, and be able to work on-site in Herndon, VA (and Aurora, CO).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering or related experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Java for production level software.
• Experience with the Java Spring Framework.
• Experience with messaging frameworks and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Supports program objectives to include software development in a collaborative agile environment.
• Defines system scope with users and provides analytical support through development and implementation phases.
• Reviews systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives and safety criteria.
• Leads a small high performing team across the full software development lifecycle.
