Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain full stack Java applications in an Agile SDLC. You will develop Spring Boot-based enterprise apps, create APIs for frontend and partner consumption, and model data for persistence.

Strong collaboration with analysts and teammates is expected as well as delivering secure, tested software. Travel up to 10% to the Jacksonville, FL office may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Java development technologies and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• RESTful service development and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops full stack Spring Boot components and migrates legacy components.
• Develops APIs for frontend functionality or internal use.
• Designs data models for applications and databases.
• Collaborates with analysts and team members to understand business requirements.
• Performs unit, component, and scenario testing.
