Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Java Engineer with 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and deploy high-volume enterprise Java applications hosted on AWS.

You will architect robust, secure backend systems, optimize billing/pricing engines, and drive technical excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance financial software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years backend software engineering experience
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems or transactional banking/financial apps
• Experience migrating monoliths to microservices
• Strong English communication skills
• Agile/Scrum environment experience

Responsibilities

• Architect high-availability Java applications
• Write secure, optimized code for large financial transactions
• Design and scale microservices architectures
• Model and manage relational and NoSQL databases
• Build secure APIs for third-party integrations
• Manage CI/CD pipelines on AWS
• Lead code reviews and mentor engineers
• Identify bottlenecks and ensure zero-downtime deployments
