Job summary

NationMind LLC in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Java Developer for a 12‑month contract, hybrid with 3 days onsite. The role focuses on developing and maintaining scalable applications, leading technical initiatives, and collaborating across teams in an Agile/CI‑CD setting.

We require 8–10+ years of hands-on Core Java experience, strong Kafka and Spring expertise, microservices, REST APIs, SQL/Oracle, and Git. Banking/financial services exposure is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Core Java experience.
• Strong Kafka expertise and Spring Boot/Framework proficiency.
• Microservices, REST APIs, SQL/Oracle, Git, and JUnit/TDD.
• Experience in Agile/CI/CD environments.
• Banking/Financial Services experience is highly preferred.
• Proven Java development and software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications.
• Participate in design, development and implementation of complex applications.
• Provide technical direction and system architecture for initiatives.
• Lead projects and direct activities of a team on special initiatives.
• Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle and CI/CD.
• Operate in an Agile environment and ensure quality through TDD.
