Job summary

SIDRAM TECHNOLOGIES is hiring a Java Developer in Charlotte, NC. The role is hybrid/onsite contract with senior-level expertise in Java 8/11/17+, Spring, microservices, Kafka, and cloud platforms. You will design and implement scalable REST APIs, integrate with external systems, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of hands-on Java experience, strong testing skills with JUnit/Mockito, and a real passion for distributed systems and Agile teamwork.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Java development experience
• Strong knowledge of OOP and multithreading
• Experience with Spring ecosystem and microservices
• Proficient in RESTful API design and data access with SQL/NoSQL
• Experience with Kafka or messaging systems
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines and modern build tools (Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins)
• Unit and integration testing with JUnit/Mockito and Agile/Scrum practices

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Build integrations with internal and external systems.
• Implement Kafka-based asynchronous/event-driven solutions.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize queries.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker & Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement application security using Spring Security, OAuth2 & JWT.
• Develop unit/integration tests using JUnit & Mockito.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, BAs, and product teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
