Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (CALC engine) to work on a high-performance Java OLAP engine with its own modelling language. You will contribute near the core of the engine, where correctness and speed matter as much as scalability.

You will collaborate with product teams to translate design decisions into executable criteria, implement low-latency code, and communicate complex concepts clearly while advocating quality and correctness.

Qualifications

• Strong backend software development experience.
• Deep expertise in Core Java, low latency programming, and JVM internals.
• Experience with database engines or compiler design and language design.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code.
• Knowledge of Lambda Architecture is a plus.
