Job summary

EveryMatrix is seeking a Senior Java Developer for the OddsMatrix Sportsbook platform. You will design, implement, and maintain core backend services, capture requirements, and contribute to technical specifications with your team.

You will participate in all stages of development, review code, and ensure scalable, low-latency systems while collaborating with stakeholders across departments to deliver an outstanding player experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science (or related field)
• 7+ years of relevant software development experience with Java, Spring Boot
• Professional experience using Java 12 or higher
• Solid knowledge of data structures and OOP
• Experience with high performance, low latency, multi-threaded systems
• Strong knowledge of domain driven design and distributed architectures
• Good understanding of design patterns and clean coding practices, microservices architectures
• Experience using message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
• Unit and integration testing experience
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases

Responsibilities

• Take part in the full development lifecycle for supported products
• Uphold a high standard of code quality (documentation, testing, code review)
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure best user experience
• Develop efficient services that serve millions of requests/day
