Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking a Senior Software Developer in the Los Angeles area to advance a strategic modernization of insurance platforms. You will transform Gosu-based ClaimCenter customizations into Java, build scalable backend services, and design robust RESTful APIs within a Guidewire ecosystem.

The role requires 6+ years of Java experience, strong Guidewire ClaimCenter knowledge, and hands-on API/microservice development. Collaboration across global teams and CI/CD practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on Java backend development with Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Proficiency in Gosu-to-Java transformation and REST API design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services within Guidewire ecosystem.
• Lead Gosu-to-Java transformation initiatives using AI productivity tools.
• Architect RESTful APIs and microservices for ClaimCenter integrations.
• Collaborate with analysts and architects to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Develop unit/integration tests and support CI/CD in Agile sprints.
