Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our IT Services and Consulting team in a hybrid role, supporting Woonsocket, RI and other locations. You will work on web applications using Node.js and Java/J2EE, build robust REST APIs with Spring, and own CI/CD deployments.

The candidate will drive quality through unit testing and code reviews, optimize non-functional requirements, and ensure secure, scalable delivery. 8+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building web applications using Node.js and Java/J2EE, REST APIs, Spring Core, Spring MVC Framework, Spring Boot Framework.
• Experience with unit testing using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, JBehave.
• Build and deploy services using Gradle, Maven, GHA/Jenkins as part of CI/CD.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and RDBMS.
• Excellent communication skills – ability to build relationships and foster collaboration.
• Acting as a team member supporting teammates with a can-do attitude.
• Years of Experience: 8 Years of Experience.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team of engineers in developing elegant and high performan ce code.
• Ensure quality practices – unit testing, code reviews / leading tests.
• Optimize application for non-functional requirements.
• Build and deploy components as part of CI/CD process.
• End-to-end application delivery including coordination with required teams for production deployment.
• Monitor application health and KPIs, support production issue triage.
• Collaborate in troubleshooting data, features, service, platform issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Advocate security best practices within engineering.
