Job summary

You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and infrastructure teams, ensuring code quality, performing design reviews, and driving production readiness with performance optimization and robust database integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years' IT software experience with hands-on development.
• Strong Java core development with working knowledge of WAS/Tomcat app servers.
• Cloud experience with Kubernetes containers, microservices using Spring Boot.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; IBM ODM rules knowledge is a plus.
• Databases: Oracle, SQL; ETL experience.
• OS: Linux and Windows.
• Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery.
• Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality.
• Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
• Collaborates with Product Owner to ensure backlog/requirements are healthy with clear acceptance criteria.
• Acts as a team member while supporting cross-functional integration with LOBs, Architects, and Infrastructure.
• Leads low-level technical design and conducts code reviews to maintain high standards.
• Ensures deployment readiness, production performance optimization and database task coordination.
• Manages defects and coordinates with developers, testers, and business analysts for timely release.
