Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Sr. Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions and participate in design discussions for new features.

The role emphasizes building robust services, performing testing, and deploying across testing, staging, and production environments while upholding security standards and Agile practices.

Qualificações

• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• 3+ years of software development, application support and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years with Java/J2EE techs including Core Java, Servlets, JDBC, Web Services, XML/JSON, and JavaScript.
• 2+ years with Splunk: querying, reporting, dashboards, monitoring.
• 2+ years with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or similar frameworks.
• 2+ years developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and app servers like Tomcat or WebLogic.
• Strong security principles and secure development practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise software applications and services.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Participate in design discussions and propose new features and enhancements.
• Develop, test, and deploy software, ensuring alignment with requirements.
• Perform unit and integration testing to validate functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot issues using logs, monitoring, and debugging tools.
• Support deployments to testing, staging, and production environments.
• Analyze requirements and recommend technology to improve efficiency.
• Incorporate security best practices into design and development.
• Participate in production support and on-call duties as needed.
• Contribute to development standards, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Work in Agile environments and collaborate across teams.
