Job summary

Surge Technology Solutions Inc in Jersey City seeks an Expert Java Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience to design and build scalable enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and microservices.

You will develop RESTful APIs, work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway), manage databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL), and containerize with Docker and Kubernetes in an Agile team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
• Spring Boot and Microservices architecture experience.
• AWS experience including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch.
• SQL with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices following best practices.
• Design scalable solutions using AWS cloud services.
• Work with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and SQS.
• Design and optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage with Kubernetes.
• Implement automated build, deployment, and release processes using CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
