Job summary

dynaConnections is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical delivery in Austin, TX. This hybrid role combines hands-on coding with mentoring, architecture, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive design, development, testing, and documentation of mission-critical software, partner with Product and Business Analysis teams, and help shape scalable, reliable systems in a growing MLS/real estate technology company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework or similar Java development frameworks, including service-layer architecture design
• Strong RDBMS proficiency — schema design, complex query optimization, and application integration (Oracle experience preferred)
• Experience operating in a B2BSaaS environment supporting enterprise customers
• Self-reliant and motivated self-starter
• Project and task-oriented with a focus on details
• Clear, professional communication skills, with the ability to influence technical discussions and decisions
• Solid team player with a track record of collaborative leadership

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex, production-level issues, including cross-system and integration bugs
• Partner directly with Product and Business Analyst stakeholders to shape requirements and surface technical tradeoffs early in the process
• Work across departments to ensure long-term development efforts correctly support the business’s goals and needs
• Lead and participate in design and code reviews, with ownership of code quality standards
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers, supporting their technical growth
• Guide and help define overall architectural patterns and decisions
