Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. seeks a senior Java engineer to design, build, and maintain Java-based applications, microservices, and APIs for MineStar. You will implement AI-enabled delivery patterns while ensuring secure, scalable software aligned with engineering standards.

• Lead delivery of features using AI tooling and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with Product and Quality Engineering to clarify requirements.
• Support production operations and incident root-cause analysis.
• Create reusable AI patterns, prompts, and templates for teams.
