Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior Java Engineer to develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with Django/Python for complementary tasks. The role spans frontend and backend collaboration, leveraging React, Kafka, GraphQL, SQL, and MongoDB to deliver scalable solutions.

The candidate should demonstrate ownership of the full SDLC, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work across multiple projects with minimal guidance in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot as the primary backend technology stack.
• Experience with Django and Python as secondary backend technologies.
• Experience with React for frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and GraphQL.
• Experience with SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Experience with software build and deployment processes.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
• Senior-level ability to ramp up quickly and assume ownership across multiple projects.
